Sự quan tâm của cha mẹ đến bị thành niên và quan hệ tình dục trước hôn nhân của vị thành niên (Parental care and premarital sexual intercourse among adolescents in Chililab)

Nghiên cứu sử dụng phiếu phỏng vấn định lượng cho 2.252 cha mẹ vị thành niên lứa tuổi 13-19 với mục tiêu: 1) Mô tả sự quan tâm giữa cha mẹ với vị thành niên tại Chí Linh – Hải Dương; 2) Xác định môi liên quan giữa sự quan tâm giữa cha mẹ với quan hệ tình dục trước hôn nhân của vị thành niên (VTN). Các tác giả đã kết nối thông tin về sự quan tâm của cha mẹ với các thông tin về quan hệ tình dục trước hôn nhân (QHTDTHN) của VTN có trong nghiên cứu tổng thể về sức khỏe VTN ở CHILILAB.  Các kỹ thuật phân tích mô tả, phân tích mối liên quan hai biến, phân tích nhân tố, hồi quy đa biến đã được sử dụng. Kết quả cho thấy phân lớn cha mẹ ở CHILILAB có quan tâm đến VTN. Kết quả: Tỷ lê cha mẹ quan tâm đến VTN cao ở 4 khía cạnh. Sự quan tâm cảu cha mẹ, đặc biệt là quan tâm đến bạn bè, tâm trạng và VTN đi đâu, làm gì chính là yếu tố bảo vệ VTN trước hành vi QHTDTHN. Khuyến nghị: Các bậc cha mẹ cân quan tâm đến VTN để giảm thiểu khả năng VTN có QHTDTHN. Các nhà nghiên cứu và tổ chức xã hội nên có hoạt đông nhằm tăng cường sự quan tâm của cha mẹ với VTN.

English abstract

A household survey was conducted with 2,252 parents of adolescents aged between 13-19 with the following objectives: 1) To describe the parental care for their adolescents 2) To determine the relationship between the parental care and premarital sexual intercourse among adolescents. Data about parental care was linked with socio-economic data from DSS-CHILILAB. It also was linked with premarital sexual intercourse data from the overall study of adolescents 2010 (AH1-round 2). The factor analysis and multivariate logistics regression model were used for analyzing the data. Results: The proportion of parents who care for their adolescents was high in all 4 aspects. Parent's care, especially caring about adolescent's peers, emotion…was the protective factors for premarital sexual intercourse. Recommendations: Parent needs to care for their adolescents in order to minimize the rate of adolescent having premarital sexual intercourse. The researchers and civil society should work to enhance the parental care for adolescents.
